About Us

VIEMS is dedicated to continually improving pediatric care and is working to ensure that every child in the territory will be given proper medical care. Since then VIEMSC Program’s focus is on implementation of the grant’s performance measures, in this section the program’s goals and objectives are organized by the Performance Measure.

Goals

Goal 1:

Improve the operational capacity in the Virgin Islands to provide pediatric emergency care.

Goal 2:

Ensure that all emergency health providers possess the appropriate pediatric emergency education.

Goal 3:

Established the permanence of EMSC in the Territory’s EMS system

Goal 4:  

Improve Data Collection and Data Dissemination of Pediatric and EMSC related interests.
