The Virgin Islands Department of Health Wants Your Input
The Virgin Islands Department of Health would like to hear what you have to say about our Preventive Health and Health Services (PHHS) Block Grant work plan. You are invited to a public meeting where you will have the opportunity to review our work plan and provide feedback on our proposed objectives and program activities.
The PHHS Block Grant provides federal funds to address the conditions of heart disease and stroke. It also provides funds for education and awareness activities targeting the prevention of rape and sexual assault. The Chronic Disease Prevention Program along with the Advisory Group has developed the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant Work Plan for fiscal year 2018. The Department of Health in collaboration with our partners developed the work plan with the goal of improving the health and wellbeing of our residents while addressing the requirements of the grant. So, we want to hear from YOU!! Come and join us at one of the following locations.
