U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Department of Health is advising the public that the Division of Environmental Health offices territorywide will be closed from Monday, February 23 to Thursday, February 26, 2026.
During this period, Environmental Health staff will be participating in their annual professional training with the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), focused on strengthening inspection practices, food safety oversight, environmental sanitation, and emergency preparedness to better protect the health of our communities.
This training is an essential part of ensuring that our team remains equipped with the latest knowledge, skills, and best practices to safeguard public health across the Territory.
Normal operations will resume on Friday, February 27, 2026.
