Morris F. De Castro Clinic on St. John to Reopen on a Limited Schedule Next Week

ST. JOHN, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Department of Health advises the public that the Morris F. De Castro Clinic on St. John will reopen next week on a limited schedule, operating Tuesday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., before fully resuming operations on Monday, January 26, 2026.

The limited schedule reflects a phased reopening as the Department continues to address recent staffing challenges. For more information about the services offered during next week’s limited schedule, residents are encouraged to call the clinic at 340-776-6400.

“We are grateful to the St. John community for their patience and understanding during this temporary disruption,” said Health Commissioner Justa Encarnacion. “Our team has worked diligently to restore services, and we look forward to fully reopening the clinic later this month.”

Residents are encouraged to plan appointments accordingly. Until full operations resume, individuals may continue to seek services at Department of Health clinics on St. Thomas, if needed.

The Department will continue to provide updates and thanks the community for its cooperation.
