U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Department of Health advises the public that the Environmental Health Office on St. Thomas will be temporarily closed through Wednesday, June 10, 2026, while the Department addresses staffing needs within the Environmental Health Division.

The Department is working to restore in-person services as quickly as possible and anticipates resuming normal operations on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Individuals requiring Environmental Health services during this period are encouraged to contact the Division of Environmental Health at (340) 774-9000 Ext. 4600 for assistance and guidance regarding available service options.

The Department apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciates the public’s patience and understanding.
