DOH to Provide Free Services at Agriculture Fair

The USVI Department of Health (DOH), in collaboration with Barry University and the University of the Virgin Island’s (UVI) Nursing program, will be providing FREE Health services during this year’s Agriculture & Food Fair (AG Fair), February 18th -20th, on St. Croix.

DOH to Provide Free Services at Agriculture Fair

Encourages Community to Get Health Checkup

The USVI Department of Health (DOH), in collaboration with Barry University and the University of the Virgin Island’s (UVI) Nursing program, will be providing FREE Health services during this year’s Agriculture & Food Fair (AG Fair), February 18th -20th, on St. Croix. 

The following programs will be present to provide a plethora of healthy living information and testing: Maternal & Child Health (MCH), Community Health, Immunization, Chronic Disease & Prevention, Communicable Disease, Epidemiology, Mental Health & Substance Abuse, Family Planning, Women, Infants & Children (WIC), Health Statistics & Research. The DOH invites the community to visit us at the AG Fair and get their blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose levels checked. MAP Clients have the opportunity for their children (11 to 18 years of age) to receive vaccines; in order to receive childhood vaccines, ALL children must be accompanied by an adult/parent, make sure to bring your MAP card and immunization cards. Additionally, flu shots-for all ages-HIV Rapid Testing, Zika screenings, Breast Exams and much more will be provided. Free educational materials and goodie bags will be available to all participants!
