USVI DOH to Bring Services to Community Friday, Oct 20th
St. Croix: Plaza Extra West,  10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
St. Thomas/St. John: Fort Christian Parking Lot, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.


(October 19, 2017, U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI)) On Friday, October 20, 2017, the USVI Department of Health (DOH) is bringing the clinic to the community. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the St. Croix Health Department will be providing services at Plaza Extra West Supermarket, Frederiksted, and the St. Thomas/St. John Health Department will be at the Fort Christian parking lot. The mobile medical van will used for clinical care.

Services to be offered include:

  • Mental health and wellness sessions for the public
  • Children’s activities regarding coping with recovery
  • FREE tetanus and flu shots
  • Infant and toddler kit distribution
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Blood glucose screenings
  • Breast screening and breast cancer awareness education
  • HIV/STD Testing and distribution of condoms
  • Zika education
  • Insect repellent distribution
  • Post-hurricane health and safety information
