St. Thomas, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — This Thanksgiving, the Virgin Islands Department of Health is partnering with Oasis Terrace to host a free Thanksgiving Day Community Feast for individuals and families in need and the homeless.
The event is set for Thursday, November 27, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Oasis Terrace, formerly Pilgrims Terrace Building at the top of Hospital Ground.
“This event is about compassion in action,” said VI Health Commissioner Justa Encarnacion. “It’s a reminder that no one in our community should feel forgotten, especially during the holidays. We’re honored to join Oasis Terrace in providing nourishment and fellowship this Thanksgiving.”
The Thanksgiving feast will feature a generous spread of holiday favorites — including turkey, ham, kingfish, veggie lasagna, seasoned rice, potato stuffing, turkey stuffing, baked macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and more — all prepared and provided by Oasis Terrace. The VI Department of Health’s team will welcome guests and serve the meals.
“We’re excited that the Department of Health will be partnering with Oasis Terrace on St. Thomas to host this year’s Thanksgiving Day Community Feast,” Proprietor Link Edwin of Oasis Terrace said. “This event is an opportunity for the business to give back to our community, to let them know who we are and what we do, and most importantly to enjoy a day of service to our community as we give thanks for everything.”
