U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Virgin Islands Department of Health intends to solicit assistance from the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training Program.
The assistance will provide medically underserved Virgin Islands residents with access to no-cost dental, vision, and health screenings, examinations, and services.
The proposed assistance will take place at multiple locations in the Virgin Islands, including public schools and other community sites in 2024.
Medical providers, labor unions, or private individuals who have questions or wish to voice opposition to military assistance for this project may contact Dr. Tai Hunte-Caesar, VI Department of Health Medical Director, by calling 340-774-0117 or emailing Tai.Hunte@doh.vi.gov no later than 30 days after publication of this notice.
Failure to file comments within the timeframe noted will be considered an effective waiver of objections to military assistance for this project.
