DATE CORRECTION: Department of Health Fit Fest – A Heart Health Expo, Friday, February 18, 2022

US Virgin Islands — The public is invited to participate in the FREE Heart Health Expo on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Emile Griffith Ball Park on St. Thomas, as part of a celebration of the 2022 American Heart Month. The Expo is being hosted by Department of Health’s Division of Chronic Disease, The Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Sigma Theta Omega Chapter.

Activities will include: a presentation on cardiovascular disease, and demonstrations on CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) and the proper use of a defibrillator. Following the demonstrations participants will be led in a 45-minute aerobics session conducted by Ealaine Joseph of Fusion Fitness.
