The Department of Health (DOH) is experiencing technical difficulties with the Air Conditioning units on St. Croix and St. Thomas. As a result:
The St. Thomas Immunization and Community Health Clinics, located in the Roy L. Schneider Hospital, will be suspended services at noon today (12pm). All morning services were completed prior to closing.
The malfunctioning of the Air Conditioning unit has affected the entire Charles Harwood Complex. Therefore, the Complex is suspending services for the rest of the day beginning at 1:30pm.
The DOH is working to repair the issues at both facilities. All affected Staff are expected to return to work at both facilities tomorrow, Thursday, August 11, 2016, as normal.
If the air conditioning units still have not been repaired, the DOH plans to provide clinic services on the Medical Mobile Vans on both islands tomorrow.
